About us

Gatza was founded in 2019, during the pandemic. We are a small business that values local labor and puts a lot of love into what we do. Our factory is located in Canelinha – SC, and our physical store is in Balneário Camboriú.

Our goal is to offer original, timeless, and versatile designs, made with durable materials that are meant to last. That’s why bovine leather is our primary raw material—it ensures quality and longevity in each product.

Our Difference

We do not work with stock. From the beginning, we committed to in-house and on-demand production, aiming to be a more conscious and sustainable brand. This means that when you place an order, your footwear is made especially for you. Each product is crafted manually, one by one, with great care, only after the order is confirmed. This helps us avoid material waste and ensures a more responsible production process.

Benefits of On-Demand Production

Lower environmental impact with reduced waste and fewer emissions

Optimization and appreciation of the entire team involved

More humanized and transparent production flow

Fair and honest pricing

Models available on the website for extended periods

Focus on delivering quality rather than quantity

Production Process

Each pair of shoes goes through a meticulous, step-by-step process to ensure durability, comfort, and high-quality craftsmanship. From the initial cut to the final packaging, every detail is handled with precision and care:

Cutting: The leather is carefully cut to shape each component of the footwear.

Skiving: Edges are thinned to ensure smooth seams and elegant finishes.

Preparation: All parts are prepared and aligned for stitching and assembly.

Stitching: Each piece is sewn together with precision to form the upper structure.

Heel Covering: Heels are reinforced and covered to ensure style and strength.

Lasting: The upper is molded to the insole, giving the shoe its final shape.

Lining: A soft inner layer is added for comfort and durability.

Painting or Sole Covering: Finishing touches are applied to the soles for aesthetics and protection.

Sole Stitching: The sole is securely stitched to the upper structure.

Final Assembly: All parts are joined and reinforced to complete the shoe.

Quality Review: Each pair is inspected to meet our high-quality standards.

Packaging: Carefully packed to ensure protection during delivery.
